This program is part of the RI Developmental Disabilities Coalition’s Self-Employment project. It is designed to assist people with disabilities – and others with the entrepreneurial spirit – to learn the basics of starting and owning a business. It’s exciting, challenging – and rewarding for anyone, and we’re here to help you, whether you’re exploring an idea, ready to launch, or eager to grow. We will be discussing various aspects of business ownership with professionals who are able to assist, and we’ll be interviewing those who are currently involved in this project. You’ll have a closer look at what they’re facing, as well as learn about the resources available to develop or grow a business in Rhode Island.
RIDDC’s “Self-Employment Project: The Spirit of Individual Enterprise” is a collaborative project with RI Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Center for Women and Enterprise (CWE). The project is funded by the Governor’s Workforce Board’s (GWB) and Department of Labor and Training’s (DLT) “Real Pathways RI” initiative.
