We are mandated to work with and educate policymakers and the public about key policy issues that impact people with developmental disabilities and their families.

The RIDDC routinely holds open public forums and proposed bill sharing sessions, and focuses on key legislative priorities. We interact with policymakers about these priorities and, alongside people with developmental disabilities, provide testimony on bills. Similarly, we assist the public in their efforts. We analyze potential impact and educate, but this organization does not lobby.

Thank you to everyone who testified or spoke out in support of bills improving the lives of Rhode Islanders with disabilities.
