Self-Employment Business Class Participants Find Success on Small Business Saturday

On Small Business Saturday Shop RI hosted more than 160 vendors – 26 of which are owned by individuals with developmental disabilities. Many of those vendors saw great success at the event, with some of the 3,000 shoppers walking out with their arms full of bags.

Some of the business class participants that were vendors at the event included Rebecca’s G Cards, Bee Friendly Flowers, Double B Photography, Cheetah Greetings, Fulcrum Stained Glass, ARTicles, Favorables, Julian Ayotte, We Be Jammin’, and Red ,White, and Brew.

In addition, some of the business class participant vendors received write-ups in the local press:

• We Be Jammin’ was featured in the Food section of the Providence Journal
• Michael Coyne of Red, White and Brew received the Burrillville Community Hero Award – NRINow.com
• Red, White, and Brew received a 3-page write-up in the print edition of The Valley Breeze
• Kathy Gudmunson Photography was featured in The Warwick Post
