At its recent quarterly meeting, RIDDC blended strategic planning with dinner in an engaging session focused on shaping the future. Executive Director Kevin Nerney kicked off the event by introducing featured guests: Morna Murray, J.D., with Kate Bowden, Esq. (Disability Rights RI), and Amy Grattan (Sherlock Center). Together, these organizations form a powerful network advocating for the developmental disabilities community.
Facilitator Sulina Mohanty guided nearly 100 attendees through a structured discussion, where each table identified key issues and voted on their top five priorities. The tallied results will directly inform RIDDC’s next five-year plan, ensuring that community voices drive the agenda.
